Doramycin Ointment contains two types of antibiotics, so it has an antibacterial effect against many bacteria. The active ingredient, colistin sulfate (colysin sulfate), is effective against gram-negative bacteria and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It is also an over-the-counter drug that contains the same active ingredient bacitracin as the prescription drug Balamycin Ointment.
